Warranty 

Prince Reconditioning Services, Inc. (“Prince Wheels”) warranty shall only be applicable to the service(s) provided for your wheels or parts and only when Prince Wheels’ service(s) are directly responsible for defects to the specific area of the wheel or part and only under the following terms, conditions and limitations.


​There are no express warranties except as specifically sent forth below. Prince Wheels shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use of the item(s), or arising out of any breach of this warranty.

Prince Wheels will not be responsible for any items not claimed and paid for after 30 days of completion.

The Client is responsible for reviewing and approving wheels or parts when they are picked up at Prince Wheels or, if applicable, delivered to the Client.


Installation of tires onto wheels by the client or their agent constitutes acceptance and approval of the completed work.

​This warranty is not transferable.


Cosmetic Wheel Touch-Up (Curb Damage, Road Rash, Etc.)

Prince Wheels offers a ​limited warranty on the workmanship of any cosmetic wheel repair.
This limited warranty covers cosmetic paint touch-up repairs for 6 months from the invoice date to the client listed and named on the Invoice. 
If due to the workmanship, and while the vehicle is operated under normal driving conditions, the paint and/or clear coat chips or flakes, or other defects in the surface occur that are determined to be the result of workmanship, Prince Wheels will repair the failed area in a manner similar to the original service at their own expense at their location. 
Prince Wheels is not liable for the cost of take down, re-installation or transport of effected wheels. 
Prince Wheels reserves the right to inspect and use its chosen agents to determine cause for failure of coating prior to removal from location of installation.

The following acts and/or omissions will void the warranty:

  • Physical damage due to transport or installation, including tire installation
  • Driver error
  • Racing, on or off-road
  • Excessive contact with chlorine, fertilizer pesticides, or industrial chemical agents
  • Alteration of coating by owner or agents of owner, including but not limited to ceramic coat finishings or "plasti-dip" type coatings.
  • Physical damage due to acts of God
  • New damage caused by objects striking the vehicle, automatic car washes, use of cleaners, solvents or abrasives not approved for painted surfaces.
  • New damage caused by a collision with another surface or vehicle, stones, flood, tree sap, curb damage and other road hazards


Powder Coated Wheels

Prince Wheels offers a ​limited warranty on the workmanship of any powder coat refinished wheel.

This limited warranty covers powder coated finishes for 12 months from the invoice date to the client listed and named on the Invoice.

If due to the workmanship, and while the vehicle is operated under normal driving conditions, the powder coat  base and/or top coat chips or flakes, or other defects in the surface occur that are determined to be the result of workmanship, Prince Wheels will refinish the wheel(s) at their own expense at their location.

Prince Wheels is not liable for the cost of take down, re-installation or transport of affected parts.

Prince Wheels reserves the right to inspect and use its chosen agents to determine cause for failure of coating prior to removal from location of installation.

The following acts and/or omissions will void the warranty:

  • Physical damage due to transport or installation, including tire installation
  • Driver error
  • Racing, on or off-road
  • Excessive contact with chlorine, fertilizer pesticides, or industrial chemical agents
  • Alteration of coating by owner or agents of owner
  • Physical damage due to acts of God
  • New damage caused by objects striking the vehicle, automatic car washes, use of cleaners, solvents or abrasives not approved for powder coated surfaces.
  • New damage caused by a collision with another surface or vehicle, stones, flood, tree sap, curb damage and other road hazards

Cast aluminum and magnesium parts may experience an out-gassing and/or bubbling in the finished powder coat. We will take every precaution to avoid out-gassing; however, we will not be held responsible for bubbling caused by porous castings.


POWDER COATING, PARTS & ITEMS OTHER THAN WHEELS

Prince Wheels warrants against flaking, cracking, peeling, or excessive fading due to normal climatic exposure on powders that are UV stable. Client is responsible for the selection of powder types and colors suitable for their intended uses.
Damage to the finish coating caused by mechanical abuse such as scratches, rough handling, installation, or vandalism is not covered by this warranty. Design and/or welding flaws, such as pin holes, overlapping steel placements, or non-sealed welds that allow moisture to build up and cause rust are not covered by this warranty.
This warranty shall apply to the repair or replacement of coatings (at Prince Wheels discretion) of the material involved and shall not include reimbursement of consequential expenses such as installation, removal, equipment, or transportation costs.


The following acts and/or omissions will void the warranty:

  • Excessive heat build up
  • Driver error
  • Racing, on or off-road
  • Excessive contact with chlorine, fertilizer pesticides, or industrial chemical agents
  • Alteration of coating by owner or agents of owner
  • Physical damage due to acts of God
  • New damage caused by use of cleaners, solvents or abrasives not approved for powder coated surfaces.
  • New damage caused by a collision with another surface or vehicle, stones, flood, tree sap, curb damage and other road hazards
  • Physical damage due to transport or installation
  • Contact with sprinkler systems, tree sap, entangled vegetation (maintenance issues)
  • All parts that are fabricated with defective welds, pits holes & cracks, warranty will be void.

BENT WHEEL REPAIR

Prince Wheels strives to return wheels within factory tolerances. Any situations that prevent this will be documented at the time of invoice. No further warranty is agreed or implied.


CHROME CORROSION REPAIR

Corrosion repair is a temporary repair. No further warranty is agreed or implied.


CRACK WELDING

Welding of cracks are a temporary repair. No further warranty is agreed or implied.
