JOB REQUIREMENTS

All of our mobile & shop technicians must meet certain basic requirements.

A valid NC or SC Driver's license with no  major tickets is required by our insurance company, no exceptions. Driver's Licenses are checked prior to employment & as needed by our insurance afterwards.

Other requirements include:

  • Effective communication and interaction skills
  • Shop and work-safety appropriate clothing, shoes, hair & jewelry at all times
  • Ability to abide to health safety requirements & recommendations of CDC, OSHA and DOL
  • Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and sit
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. on an occasional basis, regularly lifting and carrying tires & rims
  • Manual dexterity, repetitive motion tasks
  • Frequent exposure to paint-related chemicals
  • Moderate to high noise level
  • Respirators must be worn, and other protective equipment may be required
  • Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
  • Shop is not air conditioned. Mobile technicians must be able to work outside year round.

Openings At This Time


​Entry Level Driver/Assis​tant Shop Technician 

No experience necessary although a work or school background in automotive or auto body is a plus. Paid on-the-job training.

We are looking for candidates that want a career in an automotive field.
• Must be ready to work fulltime.
• Follow all NC State driving laws at all times while at work
• Communicate with clientele & associates
• Arrive at work on time and ready to start
• Perform other duties as assigned by managers: i.e. provide assistance to other technicians, equipment maintenance & upkeep shop cleanliness, etc.
• Absolutely no smoking or vaping in building or vehicles

Examples of Regular Starting Daily Duties:
• Helping open the shop; starting machinery, checking supply levels, etc. Reporting to the office supplies that need reorder
• Prepping wheels for new finish: stripping & blasting, sanding, washing, etc.
• Loading vehicles onto & off of lift or jack stands
• Removing wheels from vehicles
• Removing tires from wheels
• Inspecting wheels for damage
• Repairing bent wheels
• Installing & balancing tires
• Loading/unloading delivery van
• Driving delivery van on route, safely delivering & receiving cargo, receiving & delivering paperwork or payments.
• Helping close for end of day: cleaning, trash removal, shutting down equipment, etc.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Experience:
• Driving: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:
• NC or SC Driver's License (Required)
